ABOUT NEW JERSEY Evangelical CENTRAL DIOCESE COOLJC
Mission Statement
"Our commitment is to serve faithfully in our churches, diocese, and region, as well as the global body of the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith. Through our dedication, we strive to fulfill our calling, seeking to one day hear His voice say, 'Well done, thou good and faithful servant.'"

Bishop Arthur L. Jenkins, Sr.
As the Bishop of the Evangelical Central Diocese, I am yet humbled to be a servant in the Lord’s Church for the past decade as Bishop of this Diocese. I have always endeavored to be led by the spirit knowing that promotion doesn’t come from the east or west, but from God.
My hope and desire with expectations is that everything God starts he completes it in the coming days ahead. As we stand together, we shall see the unfolding of the promises of God in our lives, families, homes, churches as well as in our communities. It is all about God getting the glory! With this said, my Mantra is about service in this season.
Discipline; Maintaining a Godly character
Contentment; Godliness with contentment is great gain where we are today is a setup for where God is taking us.
Focus; Without a focus we shall perish, focus is about Jeremiah 29:11 declaring the plan and purpose of God unfolding in the midst of crisis, thanksgiving will always serve to promote us into that which has been declared by God.
New Jersey
Evangelical Central Diocese
The Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ (COOLJC) New Jersey Evangelical Central Diocese is part of the broader international COOLJC organization, which was founded in 1919 by Bishop R.C. Lawson. The diocese, like others under COOLJC, emphasizes the Apostolic faith, with a strong focus on evangelism, holiness, and adherence to the teachings of Jesus Christ.
We are ever thankful and will always honor the leadership of our past Diocesan Bishops, the Late Bishop James H. Clark, and the Late Bishop Wayman L. Wright, Sr., they truly served the souls of this diocese, the state of New Jersey and beyond.
